Call Outs
Based in Hampshire, Alpaca MOT provides a fully mobile service designed to reach your animals wherever they are. Many farms and smallholdings are located in rural areas with unique access and winding roads. Due to this unique set-up, we calculate travel costs based on road mileage to ensure our quotes are as accurate as possible.
Total service and travel costs are calculated individually for each customer, and a full breakdown of these charges will be clearly displayed on your invoice.
Our call-out fees cover our travel time, vehicle costs, overnight supplement and admin, while husbandry services are charged separately based on your requirements.
Our travel is charged at 70p per mile , subject to a minimum call-out fee of £50.
If your total mileage cost is under £50, the flat £50 rate applies . If it exceeds £50, you pay the exact mileage cost.
A personalised travel quote will be included in any estimate requested, ensuring you have a clear total before our visit. Your final invoice will include a full breakdown of the service fees and these travel costs.
Shared Route Savings
If we are able to schedule your Alpaca MOT as part of a route including multiple farms in your area, we will divide the total travel fees between all participating locations. This allows everyone on the route to benefit from a reduced call-out rate.
We encourage neighbours to book together to take full advantage of these shared logistics savings!
